Feiyutech offers a Gimbal Stabilizer 3-axis, overall there is so much more to explore and get from the Feiyutech AK4500 as it does have some advanced features. which you can always explore through their official website and social media channels. To my experience it clearly exceeds my expectation. its light, it offers pretty much everything you need to shoot with convenience. and it comes for a price which offers great value for its features. Is this for beginners to mid filmmakers or just professional. I think its for everyone, initially it will take your 15-20 minutes to setup, but do it for 2-3 times and you can nail setup to balancing everything in less than 5 mins.
So my favorite part as a filmmaker is the Touch screen, I am not fond of having a device depend on my phone to go through settings so it is hassle free to access menu directly
from the Gimbal itself. whichever setting you want to use, you can simply select from its small responsive led
screen.
You can swipe around for options you are looking for and select one.. well that makes life easy when you don't have to remember, single tap, double tap etc...
Then you have 3 ways to get this going, so the action moving Gimbal Style which you can use with a single hand or use both the hands to use it,then you can use it like a table monopod, with this little stand or you can get the bracket like holder for use with both hands but with the camera framed in.
Then you have the focus ring, you can connect your camera via supplied cables and ribbon and focus via this ring.
Then you have an interesting piece right here, this is a motion sense remote. Takes a little while to get used to but boy its fun. Best mode is you can shoot yourself once you get use to time the motion sensor with the camera. its just amazing how valuable this feature is.
You got a lot of options and tools you can use to customize the setup that best suits your own style and genre of filmmaking. Another one of my favorites is the auto rotation let me show you how, select any one of the rotation angles you want and there you go, your very own inception mode begins You have the shadow hunter mode like an action mode, which will set the motion sensitivity and gimbal adjustment to super fast, so the time to settle the gimbal once it is moved is rapid and you get straight to action without latency in adjusting its frame.
With its 12 hours of battery you can have star trails and timed shots setup with it. I havent tried it but it is there if you guys are interested in it.you can setup time and route....???
you can switch between portrait and landscape with a single click
you can also adjust your exposure ISO and white balance by connecting your camera with the gimbal
I personally don't see any other option which can offer this built quality, value and features at a price point of $749. Feiyutech kit is durable enough to keep your gear safe from an accidental drop or so!
Apart from main gears in the kit (seen in video) you do have an accessories kit is mainly about follow focus including AKF2 focuser kit. That has brackets, cables, lens gear etc. Then you have the hyperlink Remote control for follow focus, smartphone holder, charger and cable.
Then you also have the versatile arm which you can extend from the gimbal for additional control. (included Quickstart guide, hyperlink manual, & warranty card)
